Founder and President: Stephen Lavin
Stephen Lavin is the founder, president, and principal storage consultant at Green Oak Systems. Mr. Lavin has been working since 1982 in the computer storage industry. He served for many years as one of the premier storage consultants for Sun Microsystems and Storage Technology Corporation. As a consultant for both Sun and StorageTek, Mr. Lavin has architected and implemented enterprise class storage solutions for numerous Fortune 1000 companies and government organizations worldwide. Mr. Lavin’s experience is both deep and wide in many areas of data storage hardware and software, including extensive experience performing storage assessments, optimizations, data migration, and Disaster Recovery. Implementing Backup, Recovery and Archiving solutions are particularly strong areas of his expertise.
